The division
Our Corporate Foreign Exchange division is responsible for the promotion and provision of our foreign exchange services to businesses who, as a consequence of their international trading commitments, require foreign exchange / treasury assistance.
The role
Our FX Dealers are responsible for the account management and trading of Halo Financials’ portfolio of clients. Working within a team, the role is primarily office based although you will be required to regularly meet with your clients to ensure we are succeeding in meeting their changing needs. The role requires strong sales, communication, numerical and organisational skills as well as expert technical currency knowledge.
Against pre-determined targets you will be required to:
- Execute and trade client instructions
- Account manage an existing client database
- Identify client s requirements and provide alternative risk management strategic solutions
- Communicate with Board level key decision makers
- Build long lasting business relationships
- Write FX related articles and market commentary
- Support the division s sales team
You should:
- Possess at least 2 years prior foreign exchange dealing experience with an established foreign exchange provider
- Be technically accomplished and ideally hold industry-recognised qualifications
- Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Demonstrate commitment to provide high levels of customer service
- Possess strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrate numerical and organisational skills
- Work effectively within a team
- Be commercially astute
