Gavin Herridge, Managing Director 

Gavin has worked in foreign exchange for the last 14 years playing his part in establishing the commercial foreign exchange broker market as a credible alternative to the banking sector.

After gaining experience and success helping companies from a variety of industry sectors to best manage their currency exposure in corporate foreign exchange sales, Gavin joined a bureau de change operator in May 1999 to help launch their new commercial foreign exchange division.

After five successful years Gavin decided to put this experience to better use and co-founded Halo Financial in February 2005 with the vision to create the very best foreign exchange brokerage; one that he would like to deal with himself.

Gavin is meticulous in finding the highest calibre people, motivated to provide the best possible service and who are supported by the very latest technology. This drive has helped Halo become a people business for the people; a high touch, ethical and efficient company where the interests of clients are put first and where investment in system innovation helps improve the customer experience.

Gavin has a degree in Business Studies and is married with 3 children. He loves travel and anything related to sport, and in the precious moments when he isn't taxiing his children to various social activities, he can be found supporting Liverpool FC and Leicester Tigers RFC for his sins.

David became involved in the foreign exchange industry in 1993 after a career in sales and management in the FMCG and motor industries. David’s start in the currency world was initially in corporate FX sales and then as a Dealer, handling the currency requirements for both private and corporate clients.
 
David became Dealing Manager for a large currency brokerage in 1999 and, jointly with Gavin Herridge, launched and grew the commercial foreign exchange division significantly.
 
David and Gavin left in 2004, to start a very different kind of currency company, Halo Financial. The company was founded with a vision to offer the very best customer service and exchange rates with an accessible, efficient and jargon-free range of currency services, both for private individuals and UK businesses.
 
As a Founding Director, David has responsibility for back office, settlements and compliance matters. David is a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) and a member of the Society of Technical Analysts (MSTA).

I contact Halo Financial by telephone. My call is always answered promptly and takes only a couple of minutes. The staff are polite and efficient. If I ring early morning the money is usually in my account by late afternoon.
