Eurozone growth slowed

Published: Friday 13 November 2015

The retreat in the greenback is relatively shallow as it stays firmly supported by expectation of Fed's rate hike in December. Economic data from US was slightly disappointing but give little impact to dollar. US retail sales rose 0.1% in October versus expectation of 0.2%.

Eurozone GDP growth slowed to 0.3% qoq in Q3, below expectation of 0.4% qoq. German GDP slowed to 0.3% qoq versus expectation of 0.3% qoq. Some economists noted that the slowdown in growth justified the already strong case for ECB to add stimulus in December.
