Email FAQs

How do I receive emails from Halo?

We'd like to help you make sure our mail gets to your Inbox instead of being misidentified as spam. If you currently use an anti-spam program or service, we would ask that you add our emails to your "safe" or permitted email sender list. Below are some examples of how to do this on various mail applications.

Microsoft Outlook (2003 / 2007 / 2010 / etc...)

The following article explains how to add a name to your Safe Senders or Safe Recipients List using Microsoft Outlook.

AOL (Version 9.0)

Go to keyword: Mail Controls. Select the Screen Name we're sending your HaloFinancial.com emails to. Click Customise Mail Controls for this Screen Name. Open your latest email from us. Click the Add Address button (on the right) to add to your "People I Know" list.

First of all, if our messages have been delivered to your Spam folder, select the message(s) and click Not Spam.
Second, click on Contacts then Add Contact, type whatever you'd like for Name, and add this email domain address: @halofinancial.com, then click Save.

Click the Options link, on the main menu tabs, then Safe List. Type: @halofinancial.com in your Safe List. If you see a message that should not be in your Junk Mail folder, click 'This is not Junk Mail' to avoid having e-mail from the same source sent to the Junk Mail folder in the future.

McAfee Spamkiller

Click Friends from the sidebar. Click Add. Type: @halofinancial.com Click OK

Yahoo! Mail

Open your Yahoo! mailbox. Click Mail Options. Click Filters. Click Add Filter. In the top row, labelled 'From header:' make sure Contains is selected in the pull-down menu. Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu, then enter the address: @halofinancial.com at the bottom, where it says "Move the Message To:" select Inbox from the pull-down menu. Click the Add Filter button again.

If any of our messages have been filtered to your "bulk" folder, simply open the message and click on the "This is not Spam" link next to the "From" field.

Other Providers
