How International Money Transfers Work

Published: Friday 16 October 2015

Halo Financial's Chief Analyst, David Johnson, explains the currency transfer process for Spot contracts, Forward contracts and Regular currency transfers. Halo Financial makes its money in the same way as banks do, but its profit margin is much lower at only 0.5%-1% compared to the 4-5% profit that the banks make. There is no commission and we only charge a minimal transfer fee, which is reduced to £5 for Regular currency transfers.
